1.4 Location Data: GPS-based location data, collected only when necessary to provide our Services.

1.5 Ticket and Operational Data: Support ticket details, ticket status, resolution notes, and related communication history.

To gather distributor information related to LPG purchase, invoices, transactions, sales, and reports in order to help distributors set up and manage their operations.

To customise the collected data to help distributors streamline operational activities.

To display and manage your support tickets, and to send push notifications for ticket updates and SLA alerts (mobile app).

3. Mobile App Permissions

The LPG Guru mobile app requests the following permissions. Each is used only for the purpose described:

3.1 Internet: Required for communicating with our servers and syncing ticket data. The App cannot function without internet access.

3.2 Notifications (NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send you real-time alerts for new tickets, ticket updates, SLA deadline reminders, and resolution confirmations. You can disable notifications anytime from your device Settings > Apps > LPG Guru > Notifications.

3.3 Vibration (VIBRATE): Used to provide haptic feedback for push notifications so you are alerted to urgent ticket updates and SLA deadlines.

3.4 Camera (CAMERA): Used only when you choose to attach a photo to a ticket (e.g., images of defective cylinders or site issues). The camera is never accessed in the background. You can deny this permission and still use the App — photo attachment will simply be unavailable.

3.5 Storage (READ/WRITE EXTERNAL STORAGE): Used when you upload documents or images to a ticket, or download ticket reports. Only accessed when you initiate an upload or download action.

3.6 Audio Settings (MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS): Used to play distinct notification sounds for standard ticket alerts and urgent SLA deadline alerts.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

With service providers who assist us in operating our website, mobile app, and conducting our business.

Firebase (Google): For delivering push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging. Google's Privacy Policy applies.

When required by law or in response to legal processes.

When we believe that sharing is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

On the mobile app, your authentication token is stored locally on your device in the App's private storage (not accessible to other apps).

10. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
